Sybel Vazquez
Sybel Vazquez is the Head of Cultural Programming at The Arts Club Dubai, where she runs and operates the Club’s cultural mandate through its series of talks, institutional collaborations and cultural projects. Sybel has been an art practitioner in the Gulf region for nearly a decade and was previously Head of Exhibitions at The Third Line gallery.
WP: "What is your most beloved room in your home and why?"
Sybel: "The room I love most in my home is my living/dining area. It’s the space where my thoughts and I spend the most time and where all my favorite objects and artworks live. Since childhood I’ve been very attached to the stories that come with my belongings, whether they be collected from travels, the way they made me feel when I first saw them or the reactions they may have had on my friends and family when coming over. It’s not a cohesive collection, it’s very much me."
