Otegha Uwagba
Otegha is a writer, mainly of books and occasionally journalism. Otegha's work tends to focus on culture and social issues, so she has written about everything from race and money, to feminism, class, privilege, beauty… basically whatever she is interested in and feels passionate about.
WP: "What is your most beloved room in your home and why?"
Otegha: "I'm currently about to embark on a major renovation of my flat, which I moved into two years ago - so it doesn't yet look quite as I want it to! But one room I do already love is my study. I'm a writer and so the idea of having a dedicated room to work in - "a room of one's own" - was a fantasy for many years, and I was really thrilled to be able to make that happen when I moved in. I ended up splurging on a gorgeous art deco limed oak desk from Crosta Smith Gallery, and it makes me happy every time I look at it."
