WP: "What is your most beloved room in your home and why?"
James: "If I had to choose which is my favourite room, it would be the sitting room in London. The palette is intentionally neutral—pared back to bring a sense of calm to the beautiful chaos of family and work life. One side of the room is anchored by an oversized sofa, a prototype for a future collection—far too big for the space but irresistibly comfortable. On the other, a 19th-century cabinet stands tall, filled with antiques and books collected over the years. Built-in shelves, crafted from salvaged barn wood, house a mix of art, treasures, and the occasional stray toy. The room is often in disarray, a testament to its use, but I’d rather that than a space left pristine and unlived in. By evening, as the noise settles, it becomes a place to work, to unwind—a moment of stillness before it all begins again when the children wake."
