Andrew Trotter
Studio Andrew Trotter is a multi disciplinary office working on international projects from architecture and interior design, to product design and design consultancy. With simplicity at the heart of its ideas and a true belief that any design should belong to the place where it is built, works such as Masseria Moroseta and Villa Cardo quickly became icons within the Pugliese landscape. The Studio is currently woking on projects ranging from private homes to holiday homes, shops, event spaces and boutique hotels in Utah, Puglia, Milan, Todos Santos, Jamaica, Athens, Taormina and the Amalfi Coast.

WP: "What is your most beloved room in your home and why?"
Andrew: "At Casa Soleto, the house I made with Marcelo Martinez in Puglia, my favourite room is the one at the back.
Originally it was the oldest of two chapels in the house. It’s a dark room, so we decided to go with a dark brown plaster to emphasise the sombre feeling.
It's the perfect place to escape the hot summer days, we made two linen sofas, to take a siesta or watch a film. It’s a calm place, to enjoy on your own or to have an intimate conversation."
