Wondering People

Wondering People is a thoughtfully curated art collective that sources original and editioned works by British & international artists.

Our process of finding artists is slow and intuitive; we hope to feed a sense of escapism through our discerning curation of artworks, each chosen for their distinctive aesthetic and approach. We want Wondering People to be a friendly, inclusive space for our artists to present their work and to be a platform for discovering unique pieces, both online and at our physical exhibitions. In less than six months of starting Wondering People, we were mentioned in House & Garden and The Sunday Times. Following our supper club, Inigo House came and interviewed us at our studio, where they spoke to us about some of our artists including Ed Burkes, Holly Mills and Victor Marqué, and how we are setting out to ‘challenge the exclusivity of the art world’. Porter Magazine recently included us as two of the ‘5 incredible women shaking up the art world in 2022’, while Country & Town House describe our curation of artworks as ‘cool minimalism meets earthy primalism. It’s all about craft, slowness, intuitive painterly ‘naive’ work here’.
